Airstream
Website & Mobile App Concept Design

Project Overview
Wally Byam began building trailers out of Masonite in his backyard in Los Angeles during the late 1920s. His passion for building trailers evolved into the first official Airstream called the “Clipper” in 1936. Named after the first trans-Atlantic seaplane, it slept four, carried its own water supply, was fitted with electric lights and cost a whopping $1,200. Of more than 400 travel trailer builders operating in 1936, Airstream was the sole survivor of the Depression. Fast forward 85 years later and Airstream is one of the most iconic travel brands in history, still beckoning to a legion of devoted followers a.k.a. Airstreamers.
We love Airstream and we hope you enjoy our concept design dedicated to the spirit of Wally Byam’s vision of experiencing the great outdoors!
